Doosan was on the verge of collapsing after three straight losses. The saviors were Kwak Bin and Park Kye-beom.

The Doosan Bears won their sixth game of the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League against the LG Twins 7-4 on Sunday at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul.

Doosan escaped a three-game 먹튀검증 losing streak with a win the day before to improve to 30-1 and 29-1 on the season. LG, on the other hand, saw its five-game winning streak come to an end, falling to 38 wins, two draws, and 24 losses.

LG’s starting lineup was Hong Chang-ki (right fielder), Park Hae-min (center fielder), Kim Hyun-soo (designated hitter), Austin Dean (first baseman), Oh Ji-hwan (shortstop), Moon Bo-kyung (third baseman), Kim Min-sung (second baseman), Moon Sung-joo (left fielder), and Heo Do-hwan (catcher). Starting catcher Park Dong-won was ruled out due to enteritis.

Doosan responded with Jung Soo-bin (center fielder), Kim Jae-hwan (left fielder), Yang Suk-hwan (designated hitter), Yang Ji (catcher), Hong Sung-ho (right fielder), Kang Seung-ho (first baseman), Park Kye-beom (shortstop), Heo Kyung-min (third baseman), and Seo Ye-il (second baseman). Kim Jae-hwan’s start at No. 2 came 654 days after his last appearance on September 1, 2021, against Jamsil KIA. Manager Lee Seung-yeop explained, “He seemed to be feeling the pressure at No. 4, so I used him at No. 2 as a change of pace.”

It was all Doosan from the start. In the top of the second inning, Hong Sung-ho singled up the middle and Kang Seung-ho doubled to deep right field to put runners on second and third. Park Kye-beom followed with a leadoff single and Heo Kyung-min followed with a sacrifice fly to left field for a 2-0 lead.

LG answered right back in the second inning. With Oh Ji-hwan leading off with an infield single, Moon Bo-kyung hit a chase single over the head of Kim Jae-hwan in left field. However, Moon was tagged out trying to steal third base past second base.

Doosan did not stand still. In the top of the third, Jung Soo-bin led off with a single up the middle. Kim Jae-hwan flied out to shortstop and Yang Suk-hwan flied out to left field, but Jung Soo-bin stole second and then Yang Yang-ji hit a full-count RBI single.

In the fourth inning, LG’s leadoff man, Oh Ji-hwan, drew a full-count walk. Following walks to Moon Bo-kyung and Kim Min-sung, Moon Sung-joo revived the rally with an infield single, and Heo Do-hwan followed with an RBI single to center to cut the deficit to 2-3.

Doosan loaded the bases in the eighth inning with a leadoff double by Kim Jae-hwan, a wild pitch by Yang Yang-ji, and a walk to Kim Dae-hyun. Kang Seung-ho then drew a bases-loaded walk, and after a wild pitch brought home Yang Ji, Park Kye-beom hit a two-run double to drive in the winning run.

LG put the game out of reach in the bottom of the ninth with two outs after a throwing error by the shortstop and a single by Park Hae-min, but Kim 메이저놀이터추천 Hyun-soo’s RBI triple sent the game to the 18th.

Doosan starter Kwak Bin improved to 5-2 with six innings of five-hit ball, five walks, three strikeouts and two runs on 115 pitches. He was followed by Lee Young-ha, Park Chi-guk, Lee Hyung-beom and Hong Gun-hee. At the plate, Kim Jae-hwan and Park Kye-beom had multi-hit performances. Park accounted for the lone three-hit game with a walk-off home run and a wedge hit.

Meanwhile, LG starter Casey Kelly suffered her fourth loss of the season (6-3) despite a quality start, allowing three runs on seven hits in six innings with five strikeouts. Hong Chang-ki went 1-for-2 with a walk in the loss.
