The Doosan Bears held the ‘2023 Doosan Bears Ki Baseball Tournament Awards Ceremony’ before the KIA Tigers game at Jamsil Stadium on June 6.

The Doosan Bears Baseball Tournament was held for the first time in four years due to COVID-19. The tournament was divided into primary (U13) and little divisions. The primary division, the ’37th Seoul U13 Baseball Tournament’, was held from July 10 to July 17 at Guui Baseball Stadium, with 21 teams participating. The primary division was won by Yonghwa Elementary School and the runner-up was Dogok Elementary School. The Little Division was won by Yeongdeungpo-gu Little Baseball Team and the runner-up was Nowon-gu Little Baseball Team.

In addition to the awards ceremony, the tournament also featured a pitching and hitting ceremony for the winners. Primary Division MVP Lee Ha-joon (13, catcher) and Little Division MVP Kim Hyun-jae (14, pitcher/outfielder) threw out the ceremonial first pitch.
