Samsung Lions outfielder Koo Ja-rook has been named the August Monthly MVP by Olam Hospital.

The Samsung Lions held a ceremony to honor Koo prior to the team’s home game against the KIA Tigers on Aug. 12 at Samsung Lions Park in Daegu.바카라사이트

In 97 games this season, Koo is batting .326 (368-for-120) with 33 doubles, one triple, eight home runs, 61 RBI, 48 runs scored, nine stolen bases, 44 walks, 64 strikeouts, a .486 on-base percentage and a .400 slugging percentage.

In the month of August, Koo was especially hot, batting .412 (85-for-35) with four home runs, 19 RBIs, 14 runs scored, and a 1.139 OPS in 22 games.

Dr. Lim Kyung-hwan, president of Olam Hospital, presented the award. Koo received a small gift certificate.
